Proposals for development on land east of Brockhills Lane, New Milton were submitted to New Forest District Council by Pennyfarthing Homes in August 2021.
In response to comments during the planning process, Pennyfarthing submitted amended plans to New Forest District Council (NFDC) in March 2022.
The plans comprise a mix of 166 new homes (reduced from the original 169), with 83 of these (50%) being ‘Affordable Housing’ (as defined by national planning policy).

Various specialists in the fields of architecture, planning, landscape design, ecology, drainage and transport have informed the plans. Consultees, including the Council and the local community, have provided feedback, helping to further shape the project.
A planning committee of New Forest District Council will determine the planning application later in 2022.
